Empowering Africa’s Youth Through Design

We believe that Africa’s untapped youth potential is its greatest strength. At Keino Marketing, we partner with design, visual communications, and multimedia African students and unemployed youth to:

– Build a portfolio of premade branding elements sold through our platform, exclusively showcasing their unique design elements.
– Our youth get to work on custom branding briefs, gaining practical experience with real clients across industries.

Students join us for a 6-month internship where they:
– Learn to interpret briefs, communicate with clients, and deliver exceptional work.
– Develop technical and service skills, including post-service communication, upselling strategies, and presentation etiquette.
– The objective for our youth, is to compile a strong portfolio of work to present to potential employers or use as a foundation for their own multimedia design studios.

OUR VALUE

At Keino Marketing, we lead with service, creativity, and compassion, bridging the gap between talent and opportunity – one design at a time.

In the first week, students/youth will immerse themselves in understanding how the programme works, get familiar with oKeino Marketing culture, and receive all the tools and support they need to succeed.

During this time, students are also be tasked with identifying three (3) NGOs that are close to their hearts. These organisations will be their first clients, and they will create premade or custom branding elements for them, such as logos, websites, flyers, or any other materials they require.

In the last month of the internship programme, we guide the students and youth through a specialised “Start Your Own Design Studio” module, preparing them to build their own multimedia and design businesses with confidence and clarity.

How It Works for Students:
– Students can sell their branding templates through our platform (each design is sold up to five times). Keino Marketing retains a small 25% fee to cover hosting, maintenance, and marketing.
– They receive coaching in client service, workflow management, and entrepreneurial skills.
– After their term, students can choose to stay or move on to other opportunities armed with a standout portfolio and invaluable experience.

How It Works for Clients:
– Browse beautiful, ready-to-use branding packs or commission custom work tailored to your business.
– Enjoy the best of both worlds: high-quality designs at accessible prices, while supporting young African talent.
